UPDATE: Traffic backed-up from Richmond Road
WATCH: Traffic is backed up all over Durban, avoid travelling if you can.
TRAFFIC is backed up on the N3 coming into Durban and backed up now from Richmond Road Pinetown turn-off, past the Mariannhill Road toll, for about 10km due to the taxi protest this morning.
Cars are also moving slowly in Mariannhill Road due to Richmond Road traffic congestion.
Motorists are asked to please be patient and take care.
The N2 has also been heavily affected. Protesters are reportedly blocking the N2 (north) before the Umgeni Road intersection.
