TWO men were arrested for attempted housebreaking by Enforce Security in Hillcrest earlier today.
Shane Thompson, general manager-intrusion at Enforce Security, said an armed reaction officer, Sibusiso Mchunu, was contacted by their control room advising that two men had been chased off a property in Springside Road, Hillcrest.
“Upon arrival at the premises, the armed reaction officer spoke to the gardener who said that he had chased two men who were lurking around the property. The armed reaction office then took the gardener in his car and patrolled the area. The gardener positively identified the two men walking in Nqutu Road. The armed reaction officer gave chase and apprehended both men,” said Thompson.
