Queensburgh woman killed in brutal stabbing

The events leading up to the stabbing are unknown, however SAPS were on scene and will be investigating further.

A WOMAN in her 20s was fatally stabbed in Huntley Road in Seaview, yesterday afternoon.

Rescue Care Paramedics were called to the scene at 12.30pm and found the woman on the roadside.

According to Rescue Care spokesperson, Garrith Jamieson, she had sustained a single stab wound to her upper body.

“The woman’s condition deteriorated and she went into cardiac arrest. Advanced Life Support Paramedics worked for more than 30 minutes and managed to revive the critically injured patient,” said Jamieson.

Jamieson said she was then rushed to a nearby level one trauma unit where a team of specialists were waiting.

Unfortunately, a short while later the woman passed away due to the severity of her injuries.

This follows Monday’s (27 March) fatal shooting on Norman Road. Paramedics discovered the body in the victim’s car.
