FIRE fighters worked through the night trying to contain the Bayhead fire and say it’s the largest fire they have attended.
No more injuries overnight have been reported.
This warehouse where the fire is raging is allegedly about 204 000 square metres according to Rescue Care’s Garrith Jameson.
Jamieson said the environmental people are also on site checking the harbour for water pollution.
The fire, which had engulfed a huge warehouse off South Coast Road containing wax panels started around 9.30amam yesterday.
