Tell us about your family.

I am a proud father of two boys, aged four and 10 years old. I care for them very deeply.

What drew you to the security industry?

I really enjoy being able to protect the community. Keeping people safe is what drew me to the industry. Seeing happy clients makes me feel good and very proud.

Tell us about being a security guard?

My main focus is to serve our clients as best as possible. The most important part of my duty is to strictly monitor the residential access point and report any suspicious activity. I enjoy speaking with the residents and serving them as the face of ADT.

Do you have any career highlights?

I received an award for excellent service in Cowies Hill a few years ago which definitely stands out as a proud moment and a career highlight for me.

In your experience, what is the general feeling among residents about crime and the role of private security companies?

Residents appreciate security companies who make it their job to protect and serve the community. I also know that residents will select a security company that is competent, reliable, honest and trustworthy.

What do you do to relax and recharge?

I love spending time with my family and enjoy going for a walk or run as this helps me to unwind and relax. I also enjoy reading the newspaper and positive books that are uplifting and inspiring. I love visiting and spending time with my two brothers who live in Port Shepstone.
