Explore beauty of Kloof’s Open Gardens

There will be five beautiful gardens open for viewing during the Kloof Conservancy's annual Indigenous Open Gardens event.

THE Kloof Conservancy promises an entertaining weekend of gardening visits at its annual Indigenous Open Gardens show on 25 and 26 March.

There are five great indigenous gardens on show with plant experts available to assist visitors with advice and information.

Also attending the event will be well known authors from the Flora and Fauna Publications Trust such as Elsa Pooley, Richard Boon and Geoff Nichols.

The gardens are in a compact area between Kloof, Waterfall, Hillcrest and Gillitts with the tea garden at Kloof Senior Primary.

The cost of R60 will give you access to all of the gardens as well as a cup of tea or coffee and a slice of cake at the tea garden where there will also be indigenous plant sales and garden crafts on sale.

There is no cover charge for children under 12 years old.

To ensure they are equally as enthralled during the garden visits, there will be an exciting a competition that will have them looking for information at each garden.

They can then fill in the entry form and drop it off at any of the gardens.
