Zulu culture celebrated at Curro HCA

The learners at the school treated their gardeners and domestic workers to a morning of fun, music and delicious traditional food.

THE Grade six learners at Curro HCA hosted their home helpers at a luncheon to show their appreciation for all they work they do.

Zulu cultural day is a celebration of Africa and the people who make up South Africa’s rainbow nation.

It is an occasion where the Grade 6 learners and their guests enjoy a meal of traditional food, music and dancing.

The primary school’s media village was adorned in all things Zulu and the senior choir and the marimba band, along with Vusumuzi School, entertained everyone with a wonderful repertoire of Zulu music.

The guest speaker at theis happy, celebrtory occasion, was Nolunkulu Thandeka Mkhize of the Abambo tribe in Hillcrest as well as the school’s senior Zulu teacher.
