After learning about Bryn’s condition on Wednesday, Hall kept the school updated with news of his condition.

He posted a message on the school’s website on Wednesday at 10.40pm saying that his condition was critical and that contrary to social media posts the school had not appealed for funding as no decision had been made by the neurosurgeon about surgery.

“We are deeply saddened to hear that Bryn passed away early this morning. Our condolences go out to his family – Janine, Brett and Kian at this sad time. Further news about memorial services will be posted on the WBHS Communicator,” said Hall.
Messages of condolences for the Magree family have been flooding social media since the news broke.
