Harvest Time Church hosts annual fun day
Organiser, Juanita Rambally, said that their objective with the event is to bring families together and to also debunk the fact that church is strictly about fellowship.
HARVEST Time Family Church hosted its annual family fun day recenlty at New Germany Primary School. A variety of games catering for all age groups, which also facilitated team spirit, were played. Organisers, Juanita Rambally, said the annual event makes them stronger as a congregation.
“The event is fun for the whole family, through this event we are saying that family is important. It helps makes our church stronger and a stronger church means a better community. The gist of this year’s event was the Amazing Race and our master chef competition,” she said.
Additional activities included playing tops, marbles and flying kites. Rambally said their objective with the event was to bring families together and to also debunk the fact that church is strictly about fellowship.
“We thank God for a lovely day, the church and the community for making the event a success,” she added.
