ONE man died and four others were injured when two vehicles collided on the N3 near the Shongweni off-ramp on Sunday, 11 September.
A man’s body was found lying in the slow lane of the road and according to Russel Meiring, the spokesman for ER24, the man was declared dead at the scene.
Four other men were at the scene, two were seated inside one light motor vehicle while the remaining two were seated on the embankment. They were all treated at the scene for minor to moderate injuries. “It is understood that one of the light motor vehicles had broken down in the slow lane when it was rear-ended by the second vehicle,” said Meiring.
