Expect great music, fun times and smiles all around at the White Mountain Acoustic Festival from 29 September to 2 October.

ENJOY a great line-up of some of the best acoustic acts in the country at the 11th annual White Mountain Festival from 29 September to 2 October.

Known for its intimate, relaxed atmosphere, the festival is held at White Mountain Lodge near Giant’s Castle in the scenic central Drakensberg.

Included on the bill – which features everything from bluegrass to folk, rock, blues and traditional Celtic and African rhythms – are the likes of Bad Peter, Jack Mantis Band, Georgetown, Lunatic Wolf, Simpl3 Stori3s, Chico Muya, Heather Waters, Matt Gardiner, Hoot ‘n Anny, Jerry and the Bandits, Wild Lettuce, plus a stripped-down acoustic set from The Black Cat Bones.

Also not to be missed is Cape Town’s Richard Stirton, winner of M-Net’s The Voice SA 2016, as well as his fellow contestants, singer-songwriters Mbijana Sibisi and Jeremy Olivier.

Aside from the music, festival-goers can look forward to a wide variety of food and drink outlets, great local craft beer, vibrant arts and crafts, plus loads of fun outdoor activities for the whole family, including a trail run.

A new addition this year is an on-site ‘tent hotel’, offering a stylish, hassle-free camping experience with all the comforts of home.
