UPDATE: Field’s Hill truck owner in court

A survivour of the horrifc crash wrote about how she has forgiven Sanele May and hopes for justice and the arrest of Gregory Govender.

UPDATE:

Gregory Govender’s case was postponed today until Monday, 26 September, to allow his legal team time to peruse State’s documents.

THE owner of the killer Field’s Hill truck, driven by a Swaziland man, Sanele May, is expected to appear in the Verulam magistrate’s court today, Friday, 12 August.

Owner of Sagekal Logistics, Gregory Govender, will appear in court to possibly face charges for the company’s responsibility in the Field’s Hill crash on September 5, 2013 which left 24 people dead and some injured.

Messages of support still pour in on the Sanele May Support Group on Facebook almost three years after the incident.

Thandazile Mantuli recently wrote:”Hi everyone, hope you all doing well, I am Thandazile Ntuli from Hammarsdale, I am one of the survivours of the crash. I would like to say to Sanele. he must know that I forgive him, all is God’s plan and I can’t judge Sanele. Yes, it was hectic for me but now I understand that accidents happened, I’m so glad because Govender will be behind bars, God knows everything about us. Sanele I forgive you. Only God knows why it happened like this. Fear not.”

The other members of the group are anticipating the judgement and hope justice will prevail.
