Pageant queen gives the joy of toys

Neenã Bezuidenhout gave them a demonstration and shared some tips on how to be a ramp model.

THE joy that a cuddly toy brings to a child is close to the heart of Miss United Continents SA, Neenã Bezuidenhout, who recently visited the children at the Malvern Child and Youth Care Centre, bearing gifts of teddy bears and other soft toys.

Arriving in her pageant sash caught the attention of the girls who had lots of questions about being a model.

To their delight, Bezuidenhout gave them a demonstration and shared some tips on how to be a ramp model.

“We would like to thank Neenã for taking time out of her busy pageant schedule to visit our home and bless our children with these gifts. It is always wonderful to see how the joy of a toy can light up a child’s face. We would also like to wish her the best of luck when she represents South Africa at the next edition of Miss United Continents in Ecuador later this year,” said Lee Jarrett, PR and fundraising manager at the Malvern Child and Youth Care Centre.
