Local musos take a look at famous artists and their hits

Book your tickets now to listen to The Story Behind the Story at Tina's Hotel in Kloof from 3 to 12 June.

HAVE you ever wondered what an artist was thinking when you listen to your favourite hit songs on the radio or in your CD?

Well, this is what inspired the concept of Fearless Productions’ latest offering, titled The Story Behind The Story, which runs at Tina’s Hotel in Kloof from 3 to 12 June.

With video and audio clips, Fearless Productions delve deep into the story behind those smash hits that keep us captivated, even years after the release. You get to hear from the original artists and producers while they tell their stories behind the songs. There are hilarious stories, some gut-wrenching ones and some real silly ones, but all in all, it gives us some clearer insight into what went into the production of these legendary tunes.

With the focus predominantly on the 90s decade, Fearless Productions has gathered a fantastic six-piece band to take you on this journey behind the scenes. There is no song too big for this production. You will hear the hits from the likes of Michael Jackson to Roxette, Alanis Morissette to Vanilla Ice, and from Metallica to Eric Clapton. They also threw in some Meatloaf for good measure and you will experience the Macarena like you never have before.

Shows are on Friday and Saturday nights as well as the Sunday afternoon. Tickets cost R100 each and are available at www.webtickets.co.za or any Pick n Pay outlet.
