Highway artist work bring smiles

Duminy has drawn lots of beautiful paintings for free around the Highway area, which includes the Kloof and Highway SPCA, Embo Craft and the Highway Hospice .

HIGHWAY talented artist, Giffy Duminy, painted the Pinetown Highway Child And Family Welfare Society wall to give the place some love and warmth.

Duminy is a street artist and nature lover who is known to the community for his beautiful artwork and making a difference through his paintings

“I started a project called Where Did Good People Go to honour people or organisations who do good things in the community.

“I chose the the Pinetown Highway Child And Family Welfare Society because of the wonderful job they do in assisting people and the children.

Duminy uses spray-paint to paint and said he started using using spray cans in 2009.

“I am thankful to my art teacher at school, who gave us complete artistic freedom and let us drew and paint whatever we wanted for our projects,” he said.

“I would like to thank, Dulux who sponsored me with the painting,” He said.

Duminy added that any sponsors who can assist him with the spray-paint or money that could help him with petrol costs would be appreciated.
