Syndicate targets school computer room

More than a dozen computers and laptops were stolen from Forest View Primary School’s computer room.

FOREST View Primary School was hit by a group of criminals who stole computers and laptops from its computer room.

According to Andreas Mathios of SA CAN, “a highly sophisticated team of criminals seems to be working the schools in the KwaZulu-Natal area. This is a similar incident as to what’s happened in the Midlands in the past couple of months.”

It is alleged that the group of robbers gained access to the computer room by breaking in through the ceiling. Mathios said the men ransacked offices and destroyed the alarm system. “It is very sad to see the damage done by these brazen criminals,” he said.

SAPS are investigating a case of housebreaking and theft.
