GRADE 10 pupil, Dylan Cooper, is Waterfall College’s SPAR Star of the Month.
He is pursuing his dream by studying IEB dramatic arts at the school, while competing on behalf of the school in his other passion, horse-riding, at the SANESA high school qualifiers.
Dylan has already been placed first in equitation, fourth in jumping and third in performance at the first round of 2016 SANESA high school qualifiers. He hopes to be selected to ride on a provincial level in the national events later this year.
Dylan was awarded a gold badge for outstanding academic achievement in February, and says he loves “physics and Harry Potter.” He is currently completing the Toastmasters course at Waterfall College as well, refining his public speaking and leadership skills.
His parents, Bradley and Barbara, said, “We are incredibly proud of Dylan and his achievements all round. We are grateful to Waterfall College for the platform and opportunities they give him to pursue his dreams within the school context and for their constant support and encouragement of his endeavours.”
