Nibs van der Spuy launches new album
Five readers can each win a copy of Nibs van der Spuy's new album, Natalia.
MUSO, Nibs van der Spuy, will launch his new album titled Natalia at the Westville Theatre Club next week.
Nibs said that Westville Theatre Club also holds a special place in his heart and a connection with his grandmother, May Martens. She donated an upright piano to the theatre club 40 years ago.
“My friends Shawn and Dorothy O’Neill, who are instrumental in the club’s monthly running, have put their hearts into uplifting the theatre into an amazing performance platform with great lighting and sound. I look forward to performing in my local neighbourhood of Westville,” said Nibs.
The official album launch takes place at 6 St James’ Avenue (next to the Westville swimming pool) on Thursday, 31 March, Friday, 1 April and Saturday, 2 April. Doors open at 7pm for the show at 7.30pm. Tickets cost R100 each (or a table booking of eight and only pay for seven).
