Camera club donates to rhino conservation

These much needed funds will go towards educating primary school children through art about the need to protect the endangered rhino species and stop the illegal trade in rhino horn.

WESTVILLE Camera Club handed over a fundraising cheque of R26 200 to Kingsley Holgate and Bronwyn Laing at their recent AGM.

These much needed funds will go towards the good work done by the Rhino Art Project under the banner of Project Rhino KZN. This project serves to educate primary school children through art about the need to protect the endangered rhino species and stop the illegal trade in rhino horn.

The ever dynamic, interesting and highly entertaining explorer, adventurer and conservationist, Kingsley Holgate, topped the evening with his wonderful campfire stories. He transported the members to a Kalahari campfire, while holding the famous talking stick, regaled stories of the heart and the famous pebbles of life.
