Civil Twilight to headline Splashy Fen

This year's Splashy Fen promises to be bigger and better than ever before.

IN a few weeks, Splashy Fen will once again become a hub for music fans from all over South Africa, and a host of local talent is confirmed to be performing.

The event organisers, Impi Concept Events, recently announced the next batch of confirmed artists: Civil Twilight, Jeremy Loops, Shortstraw Band, Albert Frost, Arno Carstens, BCUC and Rubber DUC, which are set to join an already exciting line-up that includes the likes of internationally-acclaimed Xavier Rudd, and South African favourites, Mango Groove, Good Luck, Dan Patlansky, The Kickstands and many more.

The men from Cape Town who make up Civil Twilight have been plying their trade in the USA for many years now and have developed an international following. “It’s an absolute privilege to have Civil Twilight perform at this year’s festival. We know fans will not be disappointed with this 2016 headliner,” says Stu Berry, the festival director. “On top of that, the likes of Albert Frost with his unique style of blues rock and Gauteng-based BCUC are going to be some of the names to look out for in our performance line-up.”

Four exciting stage arenas will provide fans with both visual and audible treats as more than 90 artists and bands showcase their musical talent.

Early bird tickets are sold out, but 1 500 general admission phase one tickets are available for R750 a person, and R795 a person for general admission phase two, with some very exciting camping options soon to be announced.

Splashy Fen 2016 – The Revival takes place from 24 to 27 March in Underberg.
