Cat Simoni stars in My London Story

Booking is essential.

RHUMBELOW Theatre’s Sunday Soirée Season features Cat Simoni in My London Story on Sunday, 7 February.

This is the true story of how Cat Simoni’s life in London changed overnight from unknown ‘BSc South-African girl’, crunching numbers in the city and having ‘drinks down at the pub on a Friday night’, to a five-star diva, delivering top-class performances at the Steinways of London’s swanky venues, The Ritz, Dorchester, Carlton, Mayfair and Park Lane Intercontinental hotels, and Berkeley Square Casino.

Cat’s hugely entertaining story of her crazy showbiz rollercoaster ride is at once spicy, irreverent and hilarious as she suddenly finds herself rubbing shoulders with the international jet-set and crème de la crème of high society’s rich, eccentric and infamous.

Cat’s amazing personal odyssey is the platform from which she delivers Andrew Lloyd Webber’s finest show-stoppers from his greatest West End shows, Evita, Sunset Boulevard, Chess, JC Superstar, Aspects of Love, Tell Me On A Sunday and Phantom of the Opera.

My London Story is devised and directed by Paul Spence. There are two shows on Sunday, 7 February at 2pm and at 6.30pm. Tickets cost R140 each. Pensioners and block bookings of eight or more will cost R120 each. The venue, 42 Cunningham Road, Umbilo, opens 90 minutes before the show for a picnic dinner. Take your own picnic baskets. Braais will be available.
