KZNPO to play Mozart in Kloof church

DON’T miss the celebrated KZN Philharmonic Orchestra play at the opening concert of Christopher Duigan’s Music Revival monthly concert series on Thursday, 28 January in Kloof at 7.30pm.

This magnificent all-Mozart programme will see the orchestra playing in a chamber format, without conductor, in the atmospheric St Agnes’ Church in Abelia Road, Kloof.

The programme features concert master and popular soloist, Joanna Frankel (violin) in the Violin Concerto No. 5 in A major and Christopher Duigan (piano) in the Piano Concerto No. 12. Both works are scored for strings with oboes and French horns. Completing the programme is Mozart’s Symphony No. 15 and the evergreen serenade Eine Kleine Nachtmusik.
