Walking with dinosaurs

Gillitts Primary School pupils had the time of their lives at Suncoast's Dinos Alive exhibition.

GILLITTS Primary School pupils had the time of their lives at Suncoast’s Dinos Alive exhibition.

The organisers of the exhibition kindly donated tickets for a school outing to underprivileged schools in the highway area. Gilliits Primary School was chosen by the Highway Mail as the upper highway school that was deserving of the tickets.

For many of the children, this was the first time that they had travelled outside of the Gillitts area and there was much excitement as they got to experience the 25 realistically modelled dinosaurs who move and make appropriate noises.

A big hit was the life size T-Rex with his enormous teeth and gigantic roar.

HOD, Anil Singh, said, “It was an exciting experience for our learners which they have never experienced in their lives before.”
