Can you help reunite a bride with her wedding dress?

A reward is being offered for information leading to the recovery of the dress.

A KLOOF bride-to-be, Stacy Cross, is distraught after her wedding dress was lost this morning (3 September). The wedding will be taking place on Saturday (5 September). (See the link below for the update to this story.)

While driving along the on-ramp from Village Road onto the M13 near the Kloof & Highway SPCA at around 8.15am, the back of the Nissan Navara she was travelling in opened and the dress, covered in a white bag, fell out. Only when arriving at her next destination did Stacy realise that it was no longer in the back of the bakkie.

She retraced her steps back to the Village Mall SuperSPAR in the hopes of finding footage or information about what happened to her dress, and a member of the public, hearing her tale, told her that he witnessed the dress fall out of the vehicle. He told her that he saw an unmarked truck pull over and an occupant picked up and took the dress.

Stacy is desperately searching for her dress, an is offering a reward for help in recovering it in time for her wedding. Anyone with information can contact the Highway Mail.
