Man succumbs to gunshot injuries sustained during robbery
The family of the victim who was wounded during an armed robbery last week are mourning his death.
THE sister of the victim who was wounded in a shootout with an alleged robber has confirmed that he died last Thursday, at 10.30am.
Four men entered the house in Caversham Road on 2 June and instructed the two siblings to lie down. The men took jewellery, two plasma TVs, a laptop and three cellphones.
The deceased managed to grab his gun and opened fire at the robbers, who returned fire, wounding the victim.
One of the men was killed in the shootout and three fled the scene unharmed.
