Motala Heights community benefits from outreach programme
A local church embarks on its annual community upliftment project.
ONE-hundred-and-fifty residents from Motala Heights received hampers during an annual community outreach project hosted by Motala Heights Christian Fellowship.
For the past 18 years, Pastor Krish Govender has chosen residents from the area as recipients of the hampers, which are sponsored by Gift of the Givers. This year, the hampers included toiletries, detergents and other household items.
Ward 15 councillor, Bhekisisa Hlongwa, and his assistant, Bhekuyise Ngcobo, were also present at the handover.
