God will watch over the miracle baby

"It hurts to know that someone could carry a baby for nine months and then throw it away like its nothing."

EDITOR – I am a new mom to a three-month-old baby boy who was born at Crompton Hospital. The story that I read in the Highway Mail (Friday, 27 February), ‘Miracle baby rescued from trash‘, really broke my heart.

It hurts to know that someone could carry a baby for nine months and then throw it away like its nothing.

I do not know what the biological mother was going through. We all go through some difficult times in our lives but we get through them. I do not want to say much about this story because it brings tears to my eyes.

I must also commend the staff at Compton Hospital. They do amazing work. They were good to me when I had my baby. I hope God will bless them for what they do, especially for new mothers who have no experience with babies, just like me.

I know God will be watching over this child like he did during those first two hours of his life. No baby deserves to be welcomed to this world in such a painful way.
