Update: Court case against neglectful dog owner continues this week

The court case against a Queensburgh owner, who is facing charges of animal cruelty after severely neglecting her mastiff x  in April of last year, will be held on Thursday, 5 February in D court at the Pinetown Magistrate’s Court.

The trial started on 20 November, 2014 but was remanded until Thursday morning due to technical difficulties with the recording devices and equipment, which stopped working.

Dr Yeshindra Govender of the Kloof & Highway SPCA will be called upon to give evidence.
