Man fatally stabbed at shopping centre
Police are investigating a murder which took place at a shopping centre last night.
A MAN was stabbed and killed during an altercation outside a take-away outlet at a Waterfall shopping centre last night. According to the Waterfall Crime Watch Facebook page, the matter is being investigated by the SAPS and an arrest is imminent.
A status post regarding the stabbing was posted on a social network site shortly after. The post read: “I was about to pull into an open parking bay and saw a fight on the walkway involving three or four people. I then saw the deceased drop face down on the walkway. I thought it was a robbery in progress and that the deceased was perhaps told by the guards to lie down, so I reversed and parked elsewhere and walked over, but then saw the pool of blood and heard someone saying he was stabbed. I also saw a rubber mallet/hammer lying on walkway near the body.”
