KKBA receives new lawnmower

The donation from Kloof Lawnmowers Centre will help KKBA to keep Kloof neat and tidy.

THE KLOOF Lawnmower Centre has donated a brand new mower for exclusive use by the Keep Kloof Beautiful Association (KKBA).

According to Sandra Wickee, secretary for the KKBA, this wonderful gesture will help them to neaten up areas in the CBD where the Parks Department cannot easily access with their tractor mowers.

“It is of substantial monetary value, and shows the local business commitment to helping us out where they are able to,” said Wickee.

Paul Fenton, owner of the Kloof Lawnmower Centre, which orchestrated the project, said the Tandem Inkunzi mower was built with a Yamaha engine and is valued at more than R10 000.

“It is a commercial product suitable for rough work and for working all day. It also has a wide cut and strong wheels to do the job in the community,” added Fenton.
