THE family of Wonderboy Gcwensa (12) is still traumatised after his mutilated body was found in a bush in KwaDabeka.

Wonderboy who was a Grade 6 pupil at Mariannhill Primary School disappeared on Tuesday, April 29 and his body was discovered on Thursday 15 May.

Wonderboy’s grandmother Elizabeth said he had been playing outside with his friends when he went missing.

“We reported the matter to the police when he did not return to the house, we looked for him everywhere with no luck.

“On Thursday a pupil from one of the high schools was coming back from school using the bushes as a short cut when he got a strange smell and alerted the residents.

“We are very shocked and confused about this attack and gruesome killing of our boy.

“We make ends meet, we do not know how where we are going to get the money to bury Wonderboy as I recently lost my daughter.

KwaDabeka SAPS communications officer, Cst Lungisani Xaba said the body was found wrapped in a blanket and his body parts missing.

This shocking discovery has prompted a search for a deaf nine-year-old Ndumiso Mbutho who disappeared on Tuesday, 25 March.

Ndumiso also resided in D Section, KwaDabeka.

Xaba said Ndumiso was last seen playing in the yard around 7pm.

He was wearing grey shorts and a t-shirt with white and yellow stripes.
