Local schoolboy crowned Mr SA Teen
Petri Stander from Thomas More College was crowned Mr SA Teen 2013/2014 recently.
LOCAL lad, Petri Stander, was crowned as Mr South Africa Teen 2013/2014, during a glitzy event in Pretoria two weeks ago.
The 17-year-old from Thomas More College in Kloof was overwhelmed with excitement.
He is a keen sportsman and is part of the school’s 1st rugby team. Petri is also busy with his private pilot’s license to become a commercial pilot.
Justin de Plooy (18) from Pretoria and Juan Pierre Smit (17) from Rustenburg were the first and second runners up respectively.
The judges included singer, Andries Hendrik Potgieter, Mr SA owner Rudi Baker, Mr SA 2013 John Owens, businesswoman Tracy Minnie and Mrs SA 2013 finalist,
Lydia Khumalo. More than 250 people attended the event at Bentley’s Country Lodge in Pretoria.
