Three cute Easter egg decor ideas for kids

Get into the Easter spirit with these fun and easy tips.

Use the holidays to create a beautiful Easter branch filled with decorated eggs that will keep the kids busy and entertained and you’ll have a unique, Easter table centerpiece made by the whole family. Try these three techniques:

Washi tape: This is a great opportunity to use those last little scraps of washi tape or go out and stock up on some cute, pastel colours for Easter. Either opt for a simple layer of  washi tape on dyed eggs to complete the look or create a colourful design on an undyed egg.

Serviette collages: Look through your paper serviettes and cut out the images or patterns. Think birds, butterflies, chicks or flowers. Use a water-based glue (that’s food safe) and a paint brush to gently stick the cut out images onto the eggs.

Melted crayons: Prep crayon shavings in various colours. Prop the hot eggs onto a little holder (an egg sits nicely in an empty washi tape roll). Now sprinkle the shavings over the eggs and watch as they melt over the hot egg shell.
