New Kia Sorento to be revealed via Facebook livestream

Due to the growing risks of Coronavirus, the Geneva Motor Show due to take place earlier this year was cancelled.

The new Kia Sorento was due to make its first world-wide appearance during the event but will now be revealed online.

On 19 March 2020, 12:30 CET, the Kia Motors Worldwide Facebook page will be streaming the official event where international media and the general public will be able to participate in the live broadcast on the @kiamotorsworldwide page. Kia representatives will be ready to answer questions during the event and Facebook users submitting these questions will stand a chance to win one of 60 six-month print and digital subscriptions to TIME magazine.

The Sorento is Kia’s flagship SUV which is designed to feature sharper lines on the exterior to accentuate the elongated proportions. The interior sees the use of more introduces premium-quality materials and the latest in infotainment technologies. The new vehicle will also come fitted with Kia’s new Smartstream powertrains which will be the first time the Sorento SUV will feature hybrid technologies.
