Ferrari: World’s strongest brand

For the second year in a row, Ferrari has claimed the top spot when it comes to brand strength.

After an independent brand and strategy valuation by leading international consultancy Brand Finance, Ferrari has once again claimed the number one position for the strongest brand. Not only did Ferrari claim the top position, but they also left other brands in the rearview mirror scoring 94.1 out of 100 on the Brand Strength Index. This rates the Ferrari brand with an AAA+ rating, one that only 11 other brands managed to achieve.

Boosted by the overall brand strength and positive sales enjoyed by the top brand, the Brand Finance Global 500 2020 report calculates the Ferrari brand to be $9.1 billion (R131 billion) in value with a year on year growth of 9%. This figure is estimated based on the net economic benefit to the brand owner of licensing the trademark on the open market.
