Volkswagen groom a new generation of entrepreneurs

Volkswagen Group South Africa in partnership with the organisation Young Entrepreneurs presented a holiday programme which groomed the youth in entrepreneurship.

VWSA’s Community Trust hosted a four-day entrepreneurship programme in the spirit of Youth month. The programme saw 52 children under the age of 14 take part in the various activities planned to teach them about how to start a business. The young entrepreneurs were shown how to design a logo for their business to how to produce products from recycled materials which were sold on Market Day at the end of the programme.

The programme has been presented annually since 2017, hosted at PeoplePavilion in Uitenhage, the programme is there to cultivate a spirit of entrepreneurship in young children. Kwanobuhle based Youth Centre, loveLife still receive continuous support from VWSA as youth development is a priority for the automaker.
