Ermelo resident, Godgiven Buthelezi nominated for SAMA

The gospel artist, Godgiven Buthelezi, who matriculated at Lindile Secondary School, will represent Ermelo and Mpumalanga on the big night, during which South African music is celebrated.

Godgiven recorded his first Kwaito album in 2006 and was known as ‘Sikelela’ in a group of that genre by the name of ‘BK’.

He had a major turnaround in his life after recording his album he decided to give his life to Christ, repented and got saved.

This led to him letting go of his Kwaito career and venture into a new genre of Gospel music.

In the year of 2017, he released his gospel album, titled, Kushobani.
