5 important reasons why you shouldn’t wear a bra when sleeping

Are you aware of the effects of wearing a bra while sleeping?

Wearing a sport bra or a well fitted bra while sleeping may not seem like a big deal, but there are so many dangers involved.

It impedes circulation– wearing a snug fitting bra to bed, including a sport bra can hurt breast tissue and cause constantly restricted circulation.

It causes restlessness – being constricted even slightly, can affect your sleep. Much like wearing clothing to bed that’s too tight, wearing a bra can cause restlessness due to irritation that you may not even notice.

It may cause hyperpigmentation– bras are too tight, they can cause dark spots in your breast by constantly rubbing against your skin, causing friction, irritation and damaging your skin.

May result in fungus– regularly wearing a bra can create perfect warm and moist environment that fungus lovers can build in. As unpleasant as it sounds, many women wear bras that don’t fit them perfectly, so chances of developing breast fungus are more likely than you think. More especially when you wear a bra at night.

It affects the physiology of the breast– a bra can affect the lymphatic system, by impairing the system and drainage. A tight bra can lead to chronic inflammation and fluid retention.
