Ermelo Rugby Club has finished in a commendable second place in the Highveld Mayors’ League, trailing behind the Krielsaders.
The competitive pool included formidable teams such as Ermelo Rugbyklub, eMbalenhle Rugbyklub, Sasol 3 Rugby Club, The Standerton Sables, and the victors of the pool, the Krielsaders.
This coming weekend, Ermelo Rugby Club is set to face off against Malelane Rugby Club, from the Lowveld pool, in a much-anticipated semi-final match.
The clash will be an away game, testing our Ermelo boys’ skills on unfamiliar turf.
The management of Ermelo Rugby Club extended its heartfelt thanks to Dries Scheepers, who has generously rewarded the players of the match in their most recent game, with biltong, Mieke Weyers for her unwavering dedication in managing all their aches and pains, and the loyal supporters who have steadfastly stood by them and continue to do so.
This semi-final promises to be an exciting encounter, with Ermelo Rugby Club striving to advance to the finals.
