Ermelo hosts Tamiya Cup finals
Seven members of the Ermelo RC Club were placed, demonstrating their strong performance.
The Ermelo RC Club took part in the Tamiya Cup finals that was hosted in Ermelo this past weekend.
The competition saw 38 people participating.

The overall championship winners are as follows:
Mini: Jaco Meintjies (Redline Racing)
F1: Lieburt Meintjies (Redline Racing)
Euro Trucks: Oros vd Walt (Ermelo RC Club)
Super Stock: Kenny Rogers (Ermelo RC Club)
Open stock: Wimpie Meintjies (Redline Racing)
FWD: Wimpie Meintjies (Redline Racing)
Modifieds: Liebhurt Meintjies (Redline Racing)
Rogers said, “A big word of appreciation must go out to all the members who helped getting the facility ready for hosting the event, and to every person who helped to maintain the track and facility. A big thanks to all the sponsors for the prizes and contributions. We would also like to thank every racer who attended the event, and to all the spectators who came to enjoy it with us.”
