Local teams partake in the Nedbank Cup Qualifications games

Local soccer teams from the South African Football Association in the Gert Sibande District League participated in the 2022/23 Nedbank Cup Qualifications games at AJ Swanepoel Stadium on September 11.
The football tournament, which is part of the NedBank Cup Qualifications, was attended by three teams, VOC FC, Wesselton Teenagers FC and Arsenal FC.
The winners of the day will move to the next level and be among the teams to participate in the upcoming Nedbank Cup Competition, where they could be pitted against Premier Soccer League and National First Division teams.
During the intense game, Wesselton Teenagers went head-on with VOC FC in the first and won 5-3 on penalties after a two-all draw in the game.
Wesselton Teenagers FC were crowned the winning team of the day when they played in the final against Arsenal FC and won 5-4 for penalties following a one-all draw in the second game.
