The past weekend’s Kralingbergh parkrun saw the women giving their male competitors a run for their money.
At the beginning of the race, Leana Lloyd, a regular winner of the women, led the field.
It was only much later that Itumeleng Sebati passed her and subsequently took the honours for the men.

He crossed the finish line with a time of 27:49, a personal best.
With a blistering time of 28:34 Lloyd finished first for the women and was placed second overall.
