Q: How did you get into rally driving?
A: It has always been a dream, which became a reality last year.

Q: When was your first race?
A: Beginning of 2018.

Q: What is your best memory and achievement in rally racing?
A: We won a few races and the biggest achievement thus far was a sixth overall place on national level, four weeks ago.

Q: Since you started, what would you say have you most improved on?
A: Every race you learn more and improve time.

Q: Tell us about your car?
A: Subaru 2.0L STI with a few secret ingredients.

Q: How do you usually prepare for a rally?
A: Mentally you must prepare well and obviously the cars take a hammering, so pre-race checks are very important.

Q: Do you get nervous before a race?
A: There are always nerves, but once you start stage one, the nerves disappear.

Q: When you are not rallying, how do you like to unwind?
A: I never unwind.

Q: What is the importance of a navigator?
A: Extremely important. The better the navigator, the better the pace.

Q: How should the relationship between a driver and a navigator be?
A: Absolute trust. If a navigator makes wrong call, you will end up on your roof as the pace is extremely fast. Likewise, the navigator must trust the ability of the driver and not be nervous.

Q: What is your aim for the upcoming rally in Ermelo?
A: First of all to finish. To enjoy and any good result will be a bonus.
