Ermelo Defensive Pistol Club rewards top shooters for the year

John Whatley was awarded as the shooter of the year. He also received the prizes for Top shot SSP/MA and best mens Shooter.

The Ermelo Defensive Pistol Club awarded the top shooters and club members of the year at a function held at the Ermelo Inn recently.

The club’s top shooters in various categories were awarded trophies and certificates for their achievements.

John Whatley was awarded as the Shooter of the Year. He also received the prizes for Top Shot in the Stock Service Pistol division for Masters (SSP/MA) and Best Mens Shooter.

Some of the EDPC 2018 prize winners were Gert Jansen van Rensburg (Safety Officer of Year) and Vivian Whatley (Ambassador, Best Distinguished Senior).

Willemjan Human was awarded for the Most Dedicated Club Member of the Year.

The Most Accurate Shooter for the Year was Christelle Whatley, who also received the prize for Top Shot in the Revolver division for Sharp Shooters (REV/SS).

The EDPC Spade was handed to GP Jansen van Rensburg for always helping out at the shooting range and dedication to the club.

Top shot in the Enhance Service Pistol division for Sharp Shooters (ESP/SS) was awarded to Christo Botha and the Top Shot in the Stock Service Pistol division for Marksmen (SSP/MM) was awarded to Frik Du Plooy.

The club thanked Vivian Whatley and Mr Lourens de Jager as well as all the shooters for being loyal.
