Eddie and Chanté 2017 champs
This was Eddie's 24th title as Ermelo Country Club Champion and Chante's fifth consecutive Ladies title.
Eddie Daniel and Chanté Boonstra are the 2017 Ermelo Golf Club men’s and ladies’ club champions, both having won the title multiple times.
The tournament was played at the Ermelo Country Club on Sunday.
Veteran Eddie won by two strokes from Derek Fick in second place, shooting a first round one-under par 71. He followed this up with a second round, six-under par 66 for a total of 137, seven under-par for the tournament.
This was Eddie’s 24th title as Ermelo Country Club Champion over the past 40 odd years.
Derek Fick took second place in the men’s A Division Gross with a five-under 139.
The ladies’ title once again went to the young golfing wünderkind, Chanté Boonstra, who bagged the title for the fifth consecutive year. The fact that she was the only lady in the field did not deter her and she put together rounds of 81 and 80 for a total of 161 to give her the title.

Saturday’s IPS club game was won by Thamie Selbea on 39 points, with Patrick Thomo in second place on 38 points. Derek Fick was placed third on 36 points.
