Msukaligwa Marathon Club recently participated in the Shanduka Marathon competition where they collected three gold medals in the different categories.
Winners in the 10 km race were Siyabonga Hlatshwayo with a time of 38:31, Vuma Msezane (41:18), Wendy Msezane came in at (44:00) winning a gold medal. Thuli Mpanza (1:03:45) and Zanele Sibanyoni with (1:07:01).
Busi Shongwe finished second in the veteran ladies’ category earning herself a gold medal with 1:41:25 on the clock.
Joel Ndlangamandla finished the 21 km race 1:39:09, Thembelihle Nhlabathi came in at 2:13:17 and Bongani Mathebula finished in 2:18:30.
In the 32 km Bheki Shongwe completed the race in 3:09:07 and Musa Sibiya followed in 3:50:15).
In the 42 km race, Petros Ndlangamandla finished the run in(3:03:34, earning himself the masters’ gold. Nelson Nhlabathi came in after 4:17:15 and Molefi Hlangwane at 4:31:44.
