The Highvelder took to the streets to ask residents of Ermelo how 2018 has been so far after the end of the first month.

Lindokuhle Sibande. The month of January was very long and taxing. I am glad it is now over and we can look forward to all the months ahead.

Praizer Ngomane. The year has been exciting for me. I have so much to look forward to and am healthy. It is going to be a good year.

Ayanda Nkosi. It has been fruitful. Our organisation, TYT, managed to help first time tertiary students with their registration fees. We also assisted vulnerable school children with school clothes. We hope to make a difference to people’s lives throughout the year.
