The idea of a mall where the showground is situated is an excellent idea.
Not only will the town develop, but more jobs will also be created.
People will start investing in our town, the value of our properties will increase and kids will be kept off the streets by having something to do.
Reality is that the show is held once a year and doesn’t appeal to people from all walks of life, whereas a mall would bring feet into our town from neighbouring towns and have something for everyone to do.
Let’s be honest: every single year come show-time, the rain comes along and people are left disappointed.
We should move with the times and go ahead with the mall.
