The Ermelo Lawn Bowls Club is thrilled to announce that entries are now open for the annual business league, which kicked off on August 20.
Whether you’re a seasoned bowler or someone who’s never set foot on the green, this is the perfect opportunity to join a fun and competitive event that welcomes everyone – from individuals to businesses.
Teams can choose to play on either Tuesday or Thursday evenings, making it easy to fit the games into your schedule.
The club will provide the bowls, ensuring that everyone has the equipment they need to participate.
The entry fee is R1 500 per team, and as the teams register, they will be divided into pools.
During the first three rounds, the teams will compete against one another within their pool to determine their standings.
Each team will play one game per night, consisting of 12 ends.
The competition will span six weeks, with three additional games in each section after the initial pool rounds.
Once these rounds are completed, the play-offs will commence, ultimately leading to the crowning of the winners in each section, as well as the overall business league champion.
