Girl (16) finds long lost mother – help reunite them

With the help of her social worker, they were able to trace her mother to the Western Cape

A 16-year-old girl who lives in a children’s home is in need of the community’s help to raise funds for her to meet her mother for the first time since she was only a baby.

With the help of her social worker, they traced her mother to the Western Cape.

The Christelike Maatskaplike Raad (CMR) in Carolina launched a fundraiser to help the girl meet her mother.

They are in need of funds for transportation from the Western Cape and accommodation for the mother.

“CMR is calling on the community to help make this young girl’s dream come true,” said Melanie Jacobs, a social worker of CMR Carolina.
